She looked relaxed as she stood on the stairs at home, gently resting her arm on the bannister, which was adorned with a Christmas garland with twinkling white fairly lights.

The television personality opted for a glamorous look for her make-up to highlight her pretty features.

She accessorised with a gold chain necklace and wore her blonde tresses slicked back into an up-do, with strands falling loosely to frame her features.

It comes after Olivia opened up on her birthing experience, admitting she felt like a ‘failure’ by not having a natural birth.

In a new interview, she candidly spoke about the distressing birth and how she had had to make quick decisions to save her child’s life.

Olivia revealed she had been determined to have a totally natural birth and even turned to hypnobirthing – a natural form of pain management which focuses on breathing techniques and a positive mentality.

However, after Abel’s heart rate dropped and her water had not yet broken, she was forced to be induced and have an epidural, while her son was pulled out with forceps.

Speaking to Grazia, Olivia explained: ‘I wanted a natural birth so badly and I’m not even sure why. I think I wanted to be like this raw, natural woman that could breathe through her contractions and be fine. I wanted to be like those strong women that I’d seen depicted everywhere.’

She added: ‘I feel like my birthing experience kind of got taken away from me. I always believed I’d be that person that thought, “It doesn’t matter how they get here as long as they get here happy and healthy”, but I’ve realised that it does matter to me.

‘At times, I have felt disappointed in myself that I wasn’t able to cope with the pain. I keep thinking that there’s more than I could have done. There’s this idea that women are built to give birth and it makes me feel like a failure that I couldn’t do it naturally.’

She also spoke about how she lost ‘nearly a litre of blood’ during the traumatic birth and acknowledged how hard the experience had been on her husband Alex.

Olivia says the experience had not put her off having more children however, saying that her and Alex want two kids.

But the reality star added that they’re planning to wait until she turns 30 and they’ve sought out therapy to prepare for the second.

Elsewhere, Olivia previously said she feels like an ‘alien’ in her own body after giving birth to her first child in June this year.

Olivia spoke to MailOnline about how she’s been dealing with postpartum body confidence and how her husband Alex, 31, has been a ‘punching bag’ during her emotional moments.

Her comments came after new mother Chloe Madeley admitted she couldn’t imagine ever ‘feeling sexy again’ after giving birth in August, and while she currently doesn’t feel herself in her body, Olivia insisted she will feel sexy again in the future.

Olivia said she has found it hard coming to terms with her new body, admitting that she is a ‘very different Olivia’ to what she was before giving birth.

Speaking about Chloe’s experience, she said: ‘More luck to her if she’s come out with a body banging like that and you want to show it off. Go for it, I think it’s just a difficult thing because some women find it so hard afterwards.

‘For me, as well I feel very alien in my body, I feel very different. At the same time, I know I will feel sexy again, 100 per cent.

‘Because I know that feeling sexy and feeling confident comes from within, it doesn’t come from what you look like or what body shape you have.

‘It’s all relative to the person that has the emotions.. On her behalf she must not be able to feel like herself and I can completely sympathise with that.

‘When I had Abel I didn’t feel like myself, I felt like a different version of myself and I think you are in a bit of a daze when you have a baby so you don’t really know how to feel.

‘She’s only had the baby a few weeks ago, her hormones are still raging, you can’t really attack a woman for how she’s feeling, it doesn’t matter if it’s not how you feel, we are all going to feel differently towards it.’
