Someone you love is on the GAPS Diet and you’re on the hunt for a gift that will make their life easier. The GAPS Diet can be challenging but it is worth the effort. Sometimes the cost of the food negates the ability to buy items that can prep tasks easier. Other items would be nice to have but may be out of the budget range. Here’s a list of a few things that a person on GAPS may love to have but might not be able to buy for themselves.
KitchenAid Stand Mixer
Let’s start with a big favorite in the cooking world, the KitchenAid mixer. Now granted the KitchenAid mixer may typically be used for baking, but since we don’t ingest gluten there is not much flour based products being made. Where the KitchenAid shines with regard to the GAPS Diet is in its ability to automate tasks like slicing, dicing, spiralizing and the like. Scroll down to see the two bonus gift ideas.
High Powered Blender
Your loved one will no doubt be doing some blending so they may want a high powered mixer. Here are three to choose from: Vitamix, Blendtec and the Ninja.

Infrared Sauna for Detoxing
Detoxing is an important part of GAPS, but not everyone has the option to use an infrared sauna for detox. But look at this beautiful sauna, just right for two people.
Air Purifier
One of the things that cleared up for me on the GAPS Diet were asthma and allergies. But it took awhile for those symptoms to go away and in the meantime using an air purifier can help to relieve allergy symptoms.
Dehydrator
And last but not least, a dehydrator can be used not only to dry fruit leather, but also vegetable leather and it also can be used to make 24-hour yogurt!
TWO BONUS ITEMS
KitchenAid Sheet Slicer Attachment
If your loved one has a KitchenAid already, consider one of these incredible attachments. This first one is a sheet slicer. Imagine lasagna “noodles” made from long sheets of zucchini. Yes, it is wonderful. I have made it and my family was shocked that I used zucchini squash to make the noodles.
KitchenAid Spiralizer Attachment
The next attachment I’ll bring your attention to is the spiralizer. I have used the hand-turned one for years and we love it, but this attachment makes the job so much easier. You will be amazed.
